Krehalon has developed two products that are particularly well-suited for automation:

• Formshrink®: utilises a thermoforming technology with two separate shrink films. This is ideal for consistent and uniform shape, high volume products. Formshrink® maximises the number of packs/m², resulting in efficient material usage per pack.
• Flovac™: uses HFFS flow wrapping technology as a bag maker and product packer and uses a sensor to measure the length of the food product and the film length is then sized and cut accordingly. Because the pack is adjusted to the product, there are large material usage savings compared to shrink bags. Case studies have proven that using Flovac™ systems reduced pack leakers to less than 1%.
